March Campus Transformation Update

Every week, the Maternelle site continues to evolve as buildings are coming into formation and we look forward to opening these new classrooms later this year. In addition, our campaign committee is continuing with leadership conversations as our school grows and our campus transforms.

The Grow with Us campaign committee, led by Patti Shaffner Jordan and Sophia Skaar, has had thoughtful conversations with leadership donors and, to date, have raised over 2.2 million dollars. In addition, we expect to hear an update from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust grant award in April. This campaign and project will take our whole community, and we encourage you to think about how you and your family would like to be involved. If you are interested in learning more about the Capital Campaign, please reach out to Marianne Wilburn, Director of Development. You can also read further on our campaign website.

“We love what French International School of Oregon has given our family, including an amazing and engaged community, the highest levels of education, student engagement, with committed and passionate teachers, so we are thrilled to donate to the exciting campus transformation.” –Denisse Reyes, Parent of Alumni

On the construction side, Carbon Construction continued making progress on the site. Three of the four concrete foundation pads have been poured, and the building frames are going into place. The team has done significant utility work on the site. We’ve received a large amount of the lumber for the site, and the buildings are “going vertical.” We have site tour options available for our leadership donors and interested parties. Email Marianne Wilburn if you are interested.
