November Construction Work Pushes Maternelle Campus Toward Finish Line

Throughout November, construction on the new Maternelle buildings continued at a strong pace, bringing the project closer to completion.

At the beginning of November, crews focused on important behind-the-scenes systems, including security camera wiring and installation. They wrapped up painting in the preschool building and completed drywall installation in the pre-k building. As we hit mid-November, crews began installing the telecommunication systems and exterior coolant line work.

On the exterior, crews finished the sidewalks and prepared the interior courtyard. They poured concrete for the curbs and stairways and began planting trees and plants on the site as well.

The buildings are all getting close to completion, and crews are planning final walkthroughs and occupancy permitting. We are looking forward to moving our Maternelle classes into these spaces, which are designed for exploration, play, and learning, providing our youngest students with a safe and inspiring environment to grow.

The Grow With Us Capital Campaign is building on the momentum from the fall and has surpassed $3 million. The Capital Campaign Committee continues to engage in meaningful conversations with parents, alumni, alumni parents, and grandparents who all play critical roles in the success of our school and community. With the Maternelle buildings on their final steps before completion, we are grateful to the community members who made this project possible. Together, we have created spaces where global minds will blossom, creativity will flourish, and memories will be made for generations to come. We need our entire community to help us complete our full campus transformation. If you would like to learn about naming opportunities, spreading out a donation over multiple years, or anything else related to the Capital Campaign, please reach out to Marianne Wilburn, Director of Development.

The Grow With Us Capital Campaign has raised 40% of the $8 million goal.
