The Emmanuelle Burk Community Center

After 29 years at French International, our founding Middle School Head, Emmanuelle Burk, has retired. This school would not be what it is today without her vision, leadership, and love for our children. At her retirement celebration on May 31st, Head of School Scott Hardister announced that we are naming the new community space to honor her years of service to the French International community.

Emmanuelle believes in bringing people together around international speakers and challenging kids to step out of their comfort zones in school performances. The Emmanuelle Burk Community Center will be a space for student shows and performances, serving as a special venue for our community to come together and celebrate our future global leaders and thinkers. As a lasting tribute to her incredible legacy, we invite you to make a gift to the Capital Campaign in her honor.
